The ancient music of Dali Cave is also known as the "Nanxie Ancient Music". It has been introduced, formed and developed since the Tang and Song Dynasties and the Dali Kingdom. It has now spanned a thousand years of history. The origin of Dali Caves through ancient music is largely due to the pure love and awe of the Bai people's more than 400,000 compatriots. During the daily festival celebrations, weddings and funerals, and the completion of the house, the villagers will invite the ancient orchestras to "do the meeting", which is similar to the religious sacred beliefs of the caves. Spontaneous followers and imparters have formed in the people. The existence and inheritance of "folkness" is the inspiration and source of the ancient art of the cave, and it is also a deep soil that can survive and develop in the foreign culture.
