Polyurea coating is a new type of coating developed in 1980 s. A new type of polyaspartic acid ester polyurea product has been developed,which has made a new breakthrough in performance and construction. The development history of polyurea coatings and their existing product application forms were reviewed, the application and research status of polyurea coatings in the fields of protection,concrete protective coatings,waterproof coatings,mechanical and automotive coatings,wood coatings and anticorrosive coatings were introduced,and the prospect of its development was put forward.
