喉咽癌组织中肿瘤相关巨噬细胞浸润与肿瘤预后的关系

The relationship between tumor-associated macrophage infiltration and prognosis in laryngopharyngeal carcinoma

目的研究喉咽癌癌内及癌周间质肿瘤相关巨噬细胞(TAM)计数及其与肿瘤预后的关系。方法通过免疫组化法测定52例喉咽癌癌内及癌周标本TAM的表达,分析癌内及癌周TAM计数与喉咽癌临床病理学因素及生存率的关系。结果喉咽癌组织中TAM计数明显高于正常组织(P<0.05),癌内TAM计数随肿瘤T分期上升而增加,预后越差。癌内TAM高表达组患者5年生存率低于低表达组,差异具有显著性(P<0.05);癌周间质TAM高表达组患者5年生存率低于低表达组,差异具有显著性(P<0.05)。癌内及癌周间质TAM浸润与生存时间均呈负相关(P<0.05)。结论喉咽癌组织TAM浸润与患者不良预后密切相关。

Objective To investigate the relationship between tumor-associated macrophage (TAM) infiltration and prognosis in laryngopharyngeal carcinoma. Methods Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of CD68 in intratumoral and peritumoral areas of 52 specimens of laryngopharyngeal carcinoma. The associations between TAM count and clinicopathological features, and survival rate of laryngopharyngeal carcinoma were analyzed. Results The TAM count in laryngopharyngeal carcinoma was significantly higher than that in normal tissues (P<0.05). Patients with high intratumoral TAM count showed a higher T staging. The 5-year survival rate of patients with high intratumoral TAM infiltration was significantly lower than that of patients with low TAM infiltration (P<0.05). Furthermore, the 5-year survival rate of high peritumoral TAM was significantly lower than the low group (P<0.05). The infiltration of TAM in intratumoral and peritumoral was negatively correlated with survival time of patients. Conclusions TAM infiltration in laryngopharyngeal carcinoma is closely related to the poor prognosis of patients.
