综述了汽车自适应巡航控制系统发展历程和使用前景,详细叙述了汽车自适应巡航控制系统ACC的组成、工作原理等方面的内容,介绍了近年来该系统在国内外所取得最新研究成果,最后提出今后车辆自适应巡航控制系统研究发展前景和发展方向,为以后的汽车研究指明的方向。
