The supply circulation of pharmaceutical products is a vital and indispensable part of the pharmaceutical industry chain,which is related to the population health and has a huge market demand. This paper attempts to expound on the construction concept of the international pharmaceutical trading center from the points including the opportunity of Shanghai pharmaceutical supply chain management and industry internationalization development,considering the core problems existing in the pharmaceutical circulation field in Shanghai. It is suggested that the pharmaceutical trading center focus on the market-oriented operation. It is also suggested that supply and demand information of pharmaceutical products be fully displayed on the platform,ensuring fair competitions from both sides on the platform. It is proposed that the supply of pharmaceutical products be visualized and supervised throughout the process with the help of innovations in system,technology and business models. In that way,the transformation and upgrading of the pharmaceutical circulation industry in Shanghai could be promoted and the people could be benefited.
