去年8月,第十次全国归侨侨眷代表大会在京举行。中共中央总书记习近平等党和国家领导人到会祝贺。党中央向大会的致词饱含深情、直抵人心,一句“无论在哪里,无论走多远,平安幸福永远是家乡亲人的最大牵挂。”得到全场热烈的掌声。今年夏天,为帮助海外华裔青少年感悟中华文化、了解当代中国、增进民族认同,由中国侨联主办的2019“中国寻根之旅”(简称“寻根之旅”)厦令营在全国各地陆续开营,上万名海外华裔青少年们齐聚祖籍国,体验中华传统文化,共话血脉相连的骨肉亲情。
Overseas Chinese teenagers carry the hope and determine the future of overseas Chinese society. At the opening ceremony of the summer camp of "Chinese Root-seeking Tour" for Chinese teenagers from foreign countries, as well as Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan of China in 2010, Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, pointed out that "For Chinese people at home and abroad, the united Chinese nation is their root, the profound Chinese culture is their soul, and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation is their shared dream.”
