China’s Forty Years of Opening Up: Paths, Achievements and New Challenges

在中国对外开放的40年中,对外开放与体制改革良性互动,共同推动了中国经济快速崛起。本文将中国对外开放40年分为启动对外开放、深化对外开放、适应规则对外开放和崛起大国对外开放四个阶段,用数据和事实刻画了对外开放后中国经济的快速发展、贸易大国和资本流动大国的形成过程,指出中国已进入崛起大国对外开放模式再造阶段。但中国崛起后对外开放模式再造仍面临着一定的国内挑战和巨大的外部压力。

In the past forty years,China's institutional reform and opening up has realized benign interaction,giving the impetus rapid rise of China's economy.This article divides China's opening up into four stages:launching stage,deepening stage,adaptive stage and restructuring stage.This paper depicts with facts and figures the process of China’s fast rise in economy,the formation as a largest trade power and the second largest nation of utilizing foreign capital and investing in other nations.The study points out that China has proceeded into a reshaping stage,in which China faces strong pressures from home and abroad.
