论国内齿科个体识别技术研究的必要性与可行性

齿科个体识别技术有着悠久的应用历史,是国际刑警组织推荐的灾难遇害者个体识别技术之一。其在澳、法、美、英、印尼等国家均有成熟的专家团队、操作流程和管理组织。相比较而言,我国在该领域的研究尚未形成体系,应用经验缺乏总结归纳,技术标准和从业人员欠缺。然而,我国日益突出的国际地位和频繁的国际交往,在国家责任和社会发展角度提出了发展齿科个体识别技术的必要性和可行性。以医学影像设备和口腔档案为基础的齿科个体识别技术研究,必将为法医齿科学的技术发展、犯罪调查应用及国际交流带来积极影响。

Forensic dentistry was used in personal identification over hundreds of years, and was considered to be reliable technology for Disaster Victim Identification(DVI) by the INTERPOL. In countries like Australia, France, America,England and Indonesia, dental identification developed well with its experts, operations and organizations. Comparatively,less researches and practices in forensic dentistry have been carried out in china. As a result, practice guidelines and experts of dental identification are urgently needed. National responsibilities and social developments brought the necessity and possibility of developing dental identification in china. The research of dental identification which is based on radiological equipments and stomatological documents, will bring active impacts on technical developments, criminal investigations and international communications of forensic odontology.
