文化视角下的中印边界问题

Analysis on Sino-India Boundary Problems from Cultural Perspective

从宗教文化视角研究中印边界问题,不失为一种尝试。这种尝试可以分为两个部分。第一部分阐述从宗教文化的角度研究中印边界问题的重要性和必要性,并从边界与跨边界的宗教文化研究、人文和文化交流、宗教文化与政治文化以及宗教与安全等方面,致力于建构一个宗教文化研究相关问题的学术框架。第二部分以“神山圣湖”为中心开展研究,通过介绍“神山圣湖”作为多宗教的圣地和印度教大神湿婆的道场,分析中国政府为印度香客开放朝圣“天路”以及中印合作的“圣水外交”,说明恢复中印之间的“神圣联系”对于中印关系的改善和发展所具有的重要意义,以及宗教文化与政治文化的协调对于印度的特殊意义。以“神山圣湖”为中心的宗教文化交流,不仅对于边境地区的安宁、经贸发展和人文交流具有重要意义,而且可以启发双方就维护边境地区的自然环境和安全进行更有效的合作。通过综合考察中印边界问题的历史与现实,未来的中印边界问题,是可以用中印文明的智慧和经验在世界屋脊打造一个文化的软边界。

This paper explores the analysis of Sino-India border problems from the perspective of religious culture. Being divided into two parts, the first part of this article elaborates the importance and necessity of studying the Sino-India border issues from the perspective of religious culture, aiming to constructing an academic framework for the study of religious culture covering the researches of religions, humanities, cultural exchanges, religious culture and political culture, as well as religion and security. Centralized on the King of Mountains and Mother of Rivers, the second part deals with the access of “ the Road of Pilgrim’ for Kailash Manasarovar Yatra presented by Chinese Government as well as the “Holy Water Diplomacy” by introducing the Kailash Manasarovar being regarded as Holy in many religions, and the ashram of Lord Shiva, which illustrates the significance and improvement of Sino-India relationship as well as the significance of coordination of Indian religious culture and political culture by restoring the “sacred link” between China and India. This article holds that the religious cultural exchanges centered on the worship on the holy Mountain and Lake, Kailash Manasarovar Yatra are of great significance not only for the peace, economic development and trade, and cultural exchanges in the border areas, but also for the effective cooperation in maintaining natural environment and security of the border areas. This paper also points out that it is the wisdom and experience of Sino-India civilization to build a soft cultural border on “the roof of the world” by comprehensively examining the history and the reality of Sino-India boundary problems and its future possibilities.
