From the current situation of education development, digitalization has a very prominent impact on the education profession, mainly reflected in the integration of digitalization into many teaching subjects, and the continuous development of teaching reform. at present, there are obstacles in the teaching reform of history major in Colleges and universities, which are not only the deviation of teaching level and teaching methods, but also the limitations in implementing the reform objectives, which are closely related to the reform methods of universities and the characteristics of history major itself. based on the characteristics of the development of history major and the basic influence of digitalization, this paper will explore reasonable measures to promote the teaching reform of history major in Colleges and universities.
