随着教学改革的深入,“以生为本”的教学理念不断强化。在新的《普通高中英语课程标准》中,也给予了直接明确:高中英语课程须面向全体学生,全面施行素质教育。然而,在高中阶段的英语学科,学生的两极分化现象愈发突显,已成为我们教师不可忽视的问题之一。学生之所以学不好英语,成为该科目的学困生,并非完全由于其个人智力的因素导致的,更有社会环境、家庭原因,或者教学方式等因素的影响。我们必须深入分析,理清思路,对学困生采取具有针对性的教育和指导,进而实现对其的转化,达到整体教学水平的提高以及素质教育的提升。
