On the Six Characteristics of the Development of Public Libraries with Chinese Characteristics

文章通过对1949年以来70年中国公共图书馆发展道路的历史回顾,总结了六大特点,即政府主导、社会覆盖、技术引领、地区协同、社会共创、融入全球,并对以上六大特点分别进行了案例分析研究和理论归纳阐述.

Based on the historical review of the development of public libraries in China since 1949, this paper summarizes six characteristics, namely, government-led, social coverage, technology-led, regional collaboration, social co-creation and integration into the world, and carries out case studies and theoretical summaries of the above six characteristics.
