The 70 Years’ Evolution Course and Its Trend of Chinese Regional Economic Development

新中国成立70年来,中国区域经济发展经历了由低水平的区域均衡发展到区域非均衡协调发展,再到强调区域协调发展的转变,区域发展政策日益完善,区域发展格局不断优化.中国区域经济发展演变经历了三大发展阶段:重点发展内地、追求区域经济均衡发展的阶段,实施东部沿海优先发展、先富带动后富的区域非均衡协调发展战略阶段,实施区域协调发展战略阶段.中国区域经济发展的未来走向在四个方面:区域发展总体战略将进一步深入实施,区域协调发展机制将进一步创新优化,重大区域发展战略将不断发挥引领作用,老少边穷地区将成为促进区域协调发展的重要突破口.

Since the founding of New China 70 years ago, China's regional economic development has undergone a transformation from low-level regional balanced development to regional unbalanced coordinated development and then to emphasis on regional coordinated development. Regional development policies have been increasingly improved and regional development patterns have been constantly optimized. The evolution of China's regional economic development has gone through three stages: focusing on the development of the mainland and pursuing the balanced development of regional economy;implementing the strategy of unbalanced and coordinated development of the eastern coastal areas with priority to development and the region driven by the rich first and then by the rich;and implementing the strategy of coordinated development of the region. The future trend of China's regional economic development is in four aspects: the overall strategy of regional development will be further implemented, the mechanism of regional coordinated development will be further innovated and optimized, and major regional development strategies will continue to play a leading role. Border and poor areas of old and young will become an important breakthrough to promote regional coordinated development.
