The Historical Evolution and Prospect of the Urban-rural Relationship in Henan for 70 Years

新中国成立以来,伴随着近70年波澜壮阔的经济社会发展进程,河南城乡关系经历了改革前城乡自由互助、二元形成,到改革后城乡分割"破冰"、失衡加剧、统筹一体,再到逐步走向城乡融合发展的历史嬗变.未来,河南要坚持以统筹推进新型城镇化和乡村振兴战略为抓手,以建立健全城乡融合发展体制机制为重点,从要素合理配置、基本公共服务普惠共享、基础设施一体建设、乡村经济多元发展、农民收入持续增长等方面着力,加快推进并实现城乡社会、形态、市场、经济,以及人与自然的全方位融合发展.

Since the founding of the New China, along with the magnificent economic and social development progress in the past 70 years, Henan's urban-rural relationship has experienced historical changes,from the free mutual assistance and coexistence of urban-rural structure before the reform and opening,to the segmentation of the dual structure,aggravation of imbalances and then overall planning of urban and rural development after the reform and opening, to the gradual urban-rural integration development. In the future, Henan should adhere to the strategy of promoting new urbanization and rural revitalization as a starting point, focus on establishing a sound system of urban-rural integration development, facilitate the all-around urban-rural integrated development of societies, outlooks, markets, economy and human-nature harmonious coexistence, by justifiably allocating production elements, sharing public services, coordinating the infrastructure construction, pluralizing the rural economy, promoting the sustainable growth of farmers’income.
