传统文化是源于过去并能够对未来的文化构建产生影响的文化。传统文化联系着现在与未来,现代教育也并非单纯地强调和追求其教育内容的“现代性”特征。传统文化与现代教育具有一定程度的契合性,具体表现在:传统文化涵养了现代教育的内容;现代教育传承着优秀的传统文化。传统文化对现代教育的实践诉求是:树立全面的传统文化观念、运用多样的现代教育形式和坚持基本的文化传承原则。

Traditional culture is the kind of culture derived from the past,which exerts an influence on the creation of future culture.Traditional culture is connected with the present and the future,and modem education doesn't only emphasize and seek for the characteristic of modernity in its educational contents.Traditional culture is compatible with modern education to some extent,which manifests itself in the following two aspects:traditional culture enriches modern education in content,and modern education inherits excellent traditional culture.What traditional culture requires of modern education is the establishment of all-round traditional culture views,the application of diversified modern educational forms,and the adherence to the basic principles of cultural inheritance.
