高等院校各级工会组织是联系广大教师的桥梁和纽带,代表和维护职工合法权益,竭诚为教师服务是工会的基本职责。多年高等院校各级工会实践表明,要真正发挥好工会组织作用,必须坚持中国共产党对工会的领导,加强对广大教师思想引领,强化工会组织的政治责任;切实发挥工会职能作用,维护好教师合法权益;努力在教师特别是高层次人才中培养造就树立典型,新时代促其建功立业;积极主动沟通,赢得上级工会组织支持和理解,不断加强“职工之家”硬件建设,积极开展丰富多彩的文体活动并长期坚持;努力完善各级工会组织,强化自身队伍建设,紧跟新时代步伐,不断改革创新工会服务方式方法。

Trade unions at all levels in colleges and universities function as bridges and bonds that connect the Party with general teachers. It is their basic duty to represent and safeguard legitimate rights and interests of general teaching staff and try their best to serve them. Years of practice conducted by trade unions of colleges and universities have shown that to make trade unions play their roles actually it is necessary to uphold the Party's leadership over trade unions and strengthen the Party's ideological guidance of general teachers and the political responsibilities of trade unions, give actual play to the function and role of trade unions to protect teaching staff's legitimate rights and interests, try to cultivate and set examples from teachers, especially higher-level talents, to promote them to make achievements in the New Era, actively communicate with higher trade unions for their support and understanding, continuously strengthen the hardware construction of "Workers' Home" and actively carry out colorful cultural and sports activities for a long time, and make efforts to complete trade unions at all levels, strengthen the self-construction of trade union workers and continuously reform and innovate the serving means of trade unions by keeping up with the New Era.
