论汉英视译法的教学意义和基本要求

Application of Sight Interpretation in English Teaching

视译法是一种介于笔译与口译之间的翻译训练方法。对大学生进行汉译英视译训练,可以强化其对汉英两种语言的对比意识,培养他们对英语语法的敏感性和较快的语法输出能力,扩大他们的语块使用范围。因此,视译法训练实践应注意提高大学生正确划分句群的能力,使视译素材多样化。

Sight interpretation, a commonly used way to practice interpretation, is widely applicable to the comprehensive teaching of English. Through practice of sight interpretation between Chinese and English, students can compare the two languages consciously, trained of sensibility of English grammar and fast output of the grammar, and expand the scope of English chunk. In practice, it should be noticed to raise students’ ability to correctly divide sentence groups in reading first, choose a variety of training material, and decide on the difficulty of the material from the low to the high in terms of its vocabulary and professionalism.
