Introduce and Ponder over American Immigration System

随着全球化进程的加快,国际移民跨境交流趋于频繁,一定程度上推动了世界经济的发展,但也给主权国家移民制度的制定提出了挑战。美国是移民国家之首,移民制度虽也存在漏洞,但相对比较完善,特别是9·11恐怖主义事件以后,美国的移民制度以维护国家主权为宗旨,吸引境外人才的同时注重打击恐怖主义等做法,对世界各国移民制度的完善具有一定的参考价值。

With the acceleration of globalization,international migrants tend to be engaged in more frequent cross-border exchanges,which,to some extent,promotes the development of the world economy,but also challenges the formulation of immigration systems of sovereign states.The United States,which is the first target country for immigrants,has a relatively perfect immigration system even though it has some loopholes.Especially after the 9.11 terrorist incidents,its immigration system aims to safeguard its national sovereignty and to attract overseas talents while combating terrorists.It becomes significant for other world countries to take their practices for reference in perfecting their own.
