摘要
DRR1 (down-regulated in renal cell carcinoma 1)最早被发现在肾癌组织中表达水平降低,因此被认为是一种肿瘤抑制因子。进一步的研究发现,DRR1 在脊椎动物的各种组织细胞内广泛表达,其在神经系统中的表达水平最高,并且在维持神经系统正常生物学功能方面起重要作用。近年来的研究还发现DRR1 在肿瘤发生发展过程中起着双重作用。一方面,DRR1 被发现在多种肿瘤组织中存在表达降低或表达缺失的现象,其表达水平高低与肿瘤细胞增殖能力强弱呈负相关关系。另一方面,DRR1 在恶性度高的胶质母细胞瘤组织中的表达水平较正常组织显著升高,其表达水平高低与胶质母细胞瘤细胞侵袭能力强弱呈正相关关系。本文通过对近年来DRR1 相关研究的总结,揭示了DRR1 在正常神经系统发育及肿瘤发生发展过程中的重要作用,对全面了解DRR1 的生物学功能提供了必要的参考,同时也为进一步研究DRR1 的生物学功能提供了新的依据。
Down-regulated in renal cell carcinoma 1(DRR1) was firstly defined as a tumor suppressor gene,because its expression was found to be down-regulated in renal cell carcinoma. Further studies demonstrated that DRR1 is broadly expressed in various tissues, and with the highest level in the nervous system. It plays important roles in maintaining the normal function of nervous system. Moreover, DRR1 also plays a dual role in tumorigenesis. On one hand, the expression of DRR1 is down-regulated in several types of tumors, and its expression level is negatively related to the proliferation ability of tumor cells. On the other hand, the expression level of DRR1 is increased in high grade glioblastoma, and is positively related to the invasion ability of glioblastoma cells. Here, in order to provide related information for future research, the biological roles of DRR1 were discussed in nervous system development and tumorigenesis.
