The Rejuvenation of Liling Underglaze Five-color Porcelain and its Modern Industrial Development

在建国初期国家经济复苏的过程中,手工业的复兴推进了国家经济的发展,传统的手工业的生产也成为了重要的支柱。在此过程中,一些具有生产效益和经济价值的传统工艺,得到了政府层面的扶持和重视而重获新生。在这一时代背景下,醴陵釉下五彩瓷的工艺技术开始恢复,现代陶瓷产业也得到了发展。并创办了国有瓷厂,为国家用瓷设计新的样式,且在国家用瓷的专项定制和现代陶瓷艺术的多元发展等方面,塑造了新的文化形象。

In the early years of new China when the country was experiencing economic recovery, the rejuvenation of handicraft industry boosted the national economic development, and the traditional handicraft industry had become an important pillar industry. During the process, some traditional handicraft which was productive and profitable took on a new lease of life because of the support and attention from the government. In such background of the times, the techniques of Liling underglaze five-color porcelain started to recover, and the modern ceramic industry also made progress. State-owned porcelain factory was set up to design new products as national ceramics. With the development of custom-made national ceramics and modern ceramic art, new cultural image was established.
