摘要
作为20世纪初兴起的"世界学术之新潮流"的敦煌学,具有国际性、综合性、多元性的鲜明特色。加强敦煌学学科体系建设,需要在进一步厘清它的学术背景及与一些学科门类之间的血肉关联的基础上,明确学科理论的主干是"学科基本结构",即是该学科的基本概念、基本原理及其相互之间的关联性,是指知识的整体性和相关事物的普遍联系;同时,也需要注重本学科学术史的研究,有助于更好地总结经验,推动学术进步。
The Dunhuang studies, which emerged at the beginning of the 20th century as part of "the new tide of world learning," has distinct characteristics of internationality, comprehensiveness, and diversity. To strengthen the construction of a system of academic disciplines in service of Dunhuang studies, it is necessary to clarify the historical background of research leading to the contemporary circumstances of the field as well as the relation between Dunhuang studies and related research fields. Besides this historical information and contextual knowledge, it remains only to emphasize that the mainstay of a theory of disciplines is the "basic structure" of a distinct field, namely the basic concepts and principles underlying Dunhuang studies and the relevance between them. Lastly, additional importance should be attached to the research of the academic history of Dunhuang studies so as to summarize past experiences in service of present research concerns and promote efficient academic progress.
