敦煌俗赋《燕子赋》《百鸟名》鸟名释义商补

A Study on the Names of Birds in the Yanzi Fu and Bainiao Ming from Dunhuang Popular Literature

拟人化的敦煌俗赋《燕子赋》《百鸟名》是十分珍贵的博物文献。文中鸟类名称目前已有的释读尚存不少可商可补之处。本文综合运用语文学与博物学知识考辨了野鹊、■鸠、■鹩、护泽鸟、赤觜■、白练带、鹄鹄师、鸿娘子、赤嘴鸭、提胡卢、念佛鸟、泽雉、花没鸽、青雀儿等14个鸟名。

Both Yanzi Fu(Odes to the Swallows) and Bainiao Ming(Chirpings of All Birds) are valuable anthropomorphic literature from Dunhuang documents, which are very important for studying the history of nature. A lot of the current interpretations on the names of the birds in the two documents need further discussing or supplementing. By a combination of Chinese philology and natural history, the author attempts to interpret 14 bird names, namely yěquè(野鹊), qújiū([求鸟]鸠), bǎoliáo([包鸟]鹩), hùzéniǎo(护泽鸟), chìzuǐyā(赤觜鸦), báiliàndài(白练带), húhúshī(鹄鹄师), hóngniángzǐ(鸿娘子), chìzuǐyā(赤嘴鸭), tíhúlú(提胡卢),niànfóniǎo(念佛鸟), zézhì(泽雉), huāmògē(花没鸽), and qīngquèr(青雀儿).
