老年瘙痒症:从症状到疾病

Senile Pruritus: from Symptoms to Illness

慢性瘙痒是老年人常见的症状,可源于皮肤疾病和非皮肤性疾病。老年人慢性瘙痒的病因常为多因素或是病因不清。在老年人慢性瘙痒中当不能明确病因或起源时,可拟诊断老年瘙痒症(也称威兰斯瘙痒),这种瘙痒疾病特指继发于衰老的慢性瘙痒。本文复习综述了相关文献并概述了老年瘙痒症的基本临床特征,重要的鉴别诊断和目前的治疗选择。

Chronic pruritus is a frequent symptom in the elderly, which may be the result of a dermatological or non-dennatological disease. In a number of cases, chronic pruritus in the elderly may be of multifactorial origins and of unknown origin. In the absence of any specific cause,a diagnosis of senile pruritus (Willans itch) is proposed,suggesting that itch is secondary to aging. This paper reviews the literature on senile pruritus and outlines the cardinal clinical features , important differential diagnoses and current treatment option.
