China’s Social Security Reform:Experience Summary,Analysis of Problems and Prospect:A Summary of the Forum on China’s Social Security Development in the Past 40 Years of Reform and Opening-up

在"改革开放40年中国社会保障发展论坛"上,学者们就改革开放40年中国社会保障发展经验与教训,当前中国社会保障体系存在的问题,新时代背景下中国社会保障改革的新思路以及养老、医疗、扶贫、救助、福利、就业等领域的前沿议题进行了汇报发言和深入研讨。论坛成果对于全面建成覆盖全民、城乡统筹、权责清晰、保障适度、可持续的多层次社会保障体系具有重要的现实意义。

The Forum on China's social security development in the past 40 years of reform and opening-up, sponsored by the Center for Social Security Studies of Wuhan University,a key research base of humanities and social sciences of the Ministry of Education,was held in Wuhan.Scholars have made a report,speech and in-depth discussion on the experiences and lessons of China's social security development in the past 40 years of reform and opening-up,the existing problems of China's social security system,the new ideas of China's social security reform under the background of the new era,and the frontier issues in the fields of old-age care,medical care,poverty alleviation, assistance,welfare,employment,and so on.The results of the forum are of great practical significance for the overall establishment of a multi-level social security system covering the whole people,urban and rural areas as a whole,clear powers and responsibilities,and appropriate and sustainable protection.
