Tall-trunk trees of Ligustrun lucidum have been widely planted for their delicate evergreen branches and leaves and strong resistance to poisonous and harmful gases including sulfur dioxide and are a common tree species for road and landscaping greening.In this paper, an introduction was made to such technical measures as pregermination treatment of seeds, selection of nursery fields, seedling management after germination, correction and fixation of the stems and yearly tending thinning so as to provide technical guidance for cultivation of high-quality tall-trunk trees of Ligustrun lucidum.
