Analysis of Intellectual Property Information Service in British Public Libraries

英国是世界上最早实施专利制度的国家,其图书馆在知识产权服务方面具有丰富的经验,对其进行深入分析和研究,可以为我国图书馆开展知识产权信息服务提供参考。论文采用网络调查法对大英图书馆"商业与知识产权中心"和欧洲专利局的"专利信息中心"的组织模式及13所英国公共图书馆知识产权信息服务展开调查分析。英国公共图书馆以其完善组织格局、标准化的服务内容、立体化的协作模式,建立了覆盖全国范围的知识产权信息服务体系。

Britain is the first country to implement the patent system in the world. Its libraries have rich experience in intellectual property services. Through in-depth analysis and research, it can provide reference for our libraries to carry out intellectual property information services. This paper investigates the organizational model of the"Business and Intellectual Property Center" of The British Library and the "Patent Information Center" of The European Patent Office and the intellectual property information services of 13 British public libraries by means of network survey. British public libraries have established a nationwide intellectual property information service system with its perfect organizational structure, standardized service content and three-dimensional collaboration model.
