立德树人:大学校长不应忽视的道德责任

Moral Education:University Presidents’ Ethical Responsibility

大学在落实立德树人这一根本任务的过程中,除了完善育人机制,加强师德师风建设外,更需要大学校长以身作则,履行道德责任。因为大学校长一向被视为伦理的领袖、道德的楷模,享有大学其他人所没有的身份和地位,在影响大学生的道德价值观上具有巨大的优势。然而,受制于内外部因素,我国许多大学校长并没有切实履行个人的道德责任。为了更好地落实立德树人这一根本任务,我国大学校长需要通过学习提升个人的道德操守,通过演讲宣扬个人的道德价值,以及通过行动彰显个人的道德领导。

In the process of fulfilling the fundamental task of cultivating students morality, university presidents themselves must set a good example and assume their ethical responsibilities in addition to perfecting their educational mechanisms and strengthening the construction of teachers'ethics and code of conduct. Because university presidents have always been regarded as ethical leaders and moral models,enjoying a status that other people on the campus,they have tremendous advantages in influencing students'moral values. However,due to internal and external factors,many of have not effectively fulfilled their personal moral responsibility. So,to better carry out the fundamental task,university presidents in China need to enhance their personal ethics through studies,publicize their personal moral values through giving speeches,and finally demonstrate their personal moral leadership through actions.
