民主社会主义思潮缘何在美国“东山再起”

随着2020年美国总统大选拉开序幕,美国社会主义再度引起人们的广泛关注。尽管“社会主义”在美国被视为一种“政治禁忌”一而非作为一种个人理念的选择加以对待—但历史上美国对社会主义并不陌生,甚至培育出一定的社会及政治土壤。当代美国社会主义东山再起,并成功进入美国政治的主流,有其错综复杂的社会、政治及经济原因,也引起比任何其他美国左翼政治在理解上的更多困惑。作为解决美国资本主义难題、化解资本主义危机的一种出路,民主社会主义指引着当下美国激进左翼力量的发展方向及话语建构,它是否会成为民主党的未来,人们将拭目以待。

With the unveiling of the American political election in 2020,American socialism has aroused widespread interest again.Although"socialism"is regarded as a"political taboo"in the United States rather than a choice of personal ideas,the Americans have not been unfamiliar with socialism in history,and they have even cultivated certain social and political conditions for it.The resurgence of contemporary American socialism and its successful entry into the American political mainstream have complicated social,political and economic reasons,which also cause more confusion to people's understanding than any other American left-wing political forces.As a way of resolving the problem of American capitalism and the crisis of capitalism,democratic socialism guides the development direction and discourse construction of the radical left-wing forces in the United States.It still remains to be seen whether it will become the future of the Democratic Party.
