The Zhujia Village Cemetery is located about 1 km to the southwest of Zhujia Village in Jianchang Township,Xingcheng City,Liaoning Province. In the summer 2015,the locals found a wooden coffin burial(numbered as XZM1)in the construction, and Huludao Museum conducted excavation to it.The burial had been damaged before excavation, but the remains showed that it was an earthen shaft pit burial furnished with a wooden coffin. All of the grave goods unearthed from this burial were bronzes, most of which were weapons and chariot and horse fittings, including daggers,trumpet-shaped objects, axle caps and linchpins, horse bits,fish-shaped strap crossings, etc. The unearthed artifacts showed that the date of this burial was around the late Spring-and-Autumn Period. This wooden coffin burial found at Zhujia Village is an important discovery of the Bronze Age Archaeology of the Liaoxi Corridor in recent years;its structure and artifacts are very similar to that of the Zhengjia Wazi Cemetery in Shenyang, which provided new data for the study on the"Zhengjia Wazi Type"of the short-hilted bronze dagger cultures.
