My Academic Path(Ⅴ):Studying Hard for the Postgraduate Entrance Examination and Future Research

从大二开始,作者即决定考研,并在忘年交祝恩堂先生的建议下,将明清小说设为备考的方向。作者通过三种方式积极备考:认真听讲考试科目涉及的课程,广泛向校内任课老师和社会专家求教问学。在明清小说和笔记领域,作者则得到大连图书馆古籍特藏部首席学术专家王多闻先生的精心指导。在正式报考时,"笔记小说"专业方向的出现,再次扭转了作者的报考方向。辽宁师大马列文论选修课任课教师叶纪彬教授的课程,为作者通过研究生入学考试发挥了重要作用。回顾考研经历,作者对友人、师长给予的帮助和指导,心怀感激,对于考研过程中出现的各种偶然因素,充满了敬畏与感慨。

From the sophomore year, the author decided to take the postgraduate entrance examination, and under the suggestion of Mr. Zhu En-tang, researching the novels of Ming and Qing dynasties was set as the direction for the examination. The author actively prepared for the examination through three ways: taking the courses involved in the examination subjects carefully;widely seeking advice and learning from teachers and social experts in the school;in the field of the novels of Ming and Qing dynasties and literary sketches, the author was carefully guided by Mr. Wang Duo-wen, the chief academic expert of the special collection of ancient books in Dalian library. When formally applying for the examination, the emergence of the professional direction of "literary sketches" reversed the author’s direction again. The course of Ye Ji-bin, an expert on Marx’s and Engels’ literary thoughts at Liaoning Normal University, played an important role for the author to pass the postgraduate entrance examination. Reviewing the experience of preparing for the postgraduate entrance examination, the author is grateful for the help and guidance from friends and teachers, and full of awe and emotion for all kinds of unexpected factors in the process.
