摘要
山西长子崇庆寺三大士殿中的十八罗汉像是目前国内宋代罗汉彩塑造像中唯一有确切可考年代的塑像,保存完整且塑造技艺高超,实属可贵。但目前对其研究尚不充分,文章通过实地考察十八罗汉塑像的现存状况,深入探讨了其背后产生的社会文化背景与地域特征,并针对罗汉像的造型艺术特征以及其背后反映出的美学品格与精神内涵作出分析。总结得出罗汉像所具有的特质无一不是宋代社会特有的精神风貌与上党地区独特审美文化淋漓尽致的表现,具有极高的历史价值与艺术欣赏价值,是佛教艺术文化史与中国雕塑史上极具魅力的典范之作。
The eighteen arhat statues in the three main scholastic halls of Chongqing temple in Zhangzi county, Shanxi province, which are the only arhat statues with definite dates in the colored plastic statues of arhat in song dynasty in China. They are well-preserved and have excellent molding skills, which is really valuable. However, at present, there is still insufficient research on them. Through the field investigation of the existing status of 18 arhat statues, this paper deeply discusses the social and cultural background and regional features behind the arhat statues, and analyzes the plastic art features of the arhat statues as well as the aesthetic character and spiritual connotation reflected behind them. It can be concluded that the characteristics of the arhat statues are not only the unique spiritual outlook of the song dynasty society and the incisive expression of the unique aesthetic culture of shangdang area, but also the extremely high historical value and artistic appreciation value, which is a very charming example in the history of buddhist art culture and Chinese sculpture history.
