The Political Tendency of China’s Middle Class and Its Impact on Public Opinion

本文对当前中国中产阶层的总体状况进行了梳理,指出中产阶层的政治倾向、价值观和行为模式方面的特点,并以2018年无效疫苗事件为例,探讨中产阶层在公共舆情事件中的议程设置作用。本文认为,中产阶层的政治倾向是"情境化"的,中产阶层的政治倾向在一定程度上主导公共舆论的走向。

This paper attempts to explore the current situation of the middle class in China. The author points out the characteristics of the middle class’ s political inclinations, values and behavior patterns, and discusses the agenda of the middle class in public opinion by taking the 2018 Ineffective Vaccine Event as a case. This paper believes that the political tendency of the middle class is "contextualized";the political tendency of the middle class dominates the direction of public opinion to a certain extent.
