教师期望效应在高职院校班主任工作中的应用

On the Application of Teacher Expectation Effect in the Educational Work of Head Teachers in Higher Vocational College

摘要 美国教育学家罗森塔尔和雅各布森通过心理测验验证了"教师期望效应",即教师对学生的期望能够对学生的学习动机、自信心、自尊心等方面产生潜移默化的影响。班主任是高职院校中重要的教育工作者,对学生成长起到关键作用。高职院校班主任应结合学生特点和相关工作原则,有针对性地运用教师期望效应,帮助学生实现最大程度的发展。 American educationists Rosenthal and Jacobson confirmed the existence of the teacher expectation effect by conducting a series of psychological tests.This theory holds that the expectation from teacher can have an unconscious influence on students’ development in terms of learning motivation,confidence and self-esteem.The head teacher,as one of the most significant educational roles in higher vocational college,plays a key part in students’ growth.For those head teachers who work in higher vocational college,they are supposed to,based on student’s actual features and related working principles,apply their expectations into educational work,so as to enable students to develop their strength to its largest extent.
