Since China entered a new era,geological exploration industry has undergone a strategic change,evolving from a single area of geological prospecting toward development in a broader range of natural resources,ecology,green environmental protection,especially becoming a focus in the society for new energy exploration and utilization.This paper expounds the opportunity and prospect of deep geothermal energy development,analyzes the challenges facing the development,and discusses the drilling equipment and key technologies of deep geothermal energy.
