摘要
文章以2006-2016年中国高校专利创新的省际面板数据为样本,采用双重差分法(DID)和多元线性回归考察了高铁开通这一外生事件对于我国高校专利创新能力的影响,研究发现高铁开通可以显著促进高校专利授权和申请数量的增加,但是这一冲击影响也受区域内科研基础的影响。高铁开通以后,科研基础较差的区域的高校专利授权和申请数量都显著增加,而科研基础较好的区域内,只有专利申请数量显著增加。进一步研究发现,高铁开通以后,科研基础较差的区域的高校专利创新能力提升速度明显快于科研基础较好区域内的高校。为了消除内生性问题的干扰,还采用安慰剂检验、控制长途通话与互联网的干扰以及替换重要变量的方法进行稳健性测试,研究结论依然成立。
This paper takes the inter-provincial panel data of the number of patents in Chinese universities from 2006 to 2016 as a sample,examines the impact of the high-speed railway opening event on Chinese universities’ patent innovation capability with DID method and MLR method(Multiple Linear Regression).The study found that the opening of high-speed railway significantly promote the increase in the number of patents’ grants and applications in universities.But the impact is also related to the scientific research bases in the region.After the opening of the high-speed railway,the number of patents’ grants and applications for colleges and universities in the region with poorer scientific research bases has increased significantly,while only the number of patent applications of universities in the region with high-class scientific research bases has increased significantly. Further research found that after the opening of the high-speed railway,the growth rate of colleges and universities in the region with poorer scientific research bases is significantly faster than that of universities in the region with high-class ones.In order to eliminate the interference of endogenous problems,this paper also conducted robustness testing with the placebo test,long-distance call controlling,Internet influencing and significant variables replacement methods,found that the research conclusion is still valid.
