中国古代体育地名不仅是地域方位的符号,更是传统体育文化的折射和活化石。探寻中国古代体育地名的文化渊源,挖掘其文化特征和文化功能,并由此分析它的现代价值,对传承和弘扬传统体育文化及推进现代体育文化建设具有积极意义。我国古代体育地名渊源于武举体育活动、渔猎活动、军队体育活动、民间娱乐竞技体育活动、体育活动器械、武士名称、王宫贵族观赏与竞技体育等七个方面,具有延续性、多样性、地域性等文化特征,发挥着历史记忆、文化传播、文化联想等文化功能。我们应该保护和传承好宝贵的古代体育地名文化,使之发扬光大并赋予其现代价值。

Chinese ancient sports toponym not only is the symbol of the geographical location.To explore the cultural origin of ancient sports toponym in China,excavate its cultural characteristics and cultural functions,and analyze its modern value,which is of positive significance to inherit and carry forward traditional sports culture and promote the construction of modern sports culture.Chinese ancient sports toponym originated from seven aspects,including military sports,fishing and hunting activities,military sports,folk entertainment sports activities,sports equipment,name of prowess man,palace nobles watching and competitive sports etc.It has the cultural characteristics of continuity,diversity and regionality,and plays the cultural functions of historical memory,cultural communication and cultural association.We should protect and inherit the precious ancient sports toponym culture,so as to carry forward it and endow it with modern value.
