为改革开放时期的中国建筑而思考:《北窗杂记》导读及其所反映的陈志华思想初探

Miscellaneous Notes Taken by the North Window and CHEN Zhihua’s Thoughts on Chinese Architecture During Its Open Era

《北窗杂记》是当代中国杰出的建筑史学家、建筑评论家和优秀的社会批评家与思想家陈志华在1980-2012年间为《建筑师》杂志所写的系列专栏文章,反映出他对于改革开放时期中国城市发展、建筑创作以及历史遗产保护等诸多事业所做的深入思考。由于各篇均无标题,因而给后人检索查阅造成了困难,也妨碍了研究者对这些文字作整体性把握,并据之了解作者本人关注的问题及其思想的发展脉络。针对这一不足,本文首先根据内容对131篇文章进行分类并代拟标题,借此梳理作者在写作过程中面对的与中国的城市化发展、建筑创新以及文物建筑保护相关的主要问题,进而例举他的主要观点,以期对这批杂文所反映的作者思想作一较为完整和清晰的呈现。

CHEN Zhihua, a distinguished architectural historian, critic, sociologist and thinker in contemporary China, wrote a series of articles [collectively titled Miscellaneous Notes Taken by the North Window(Beichuang zaji)] for the journal The Architect from 1980 to 2012. Since CHEN did not provide a title for each article, readers face difficulty when making references to his writings or apprehending the thoughts reflected in them. This paper, through entitling and categorizing all 131 articles based on their contents, attempts to identify the problems related to Chinese urban development, architectural creation, and historical preservation that CHEN confronted and reflected upon during China’s open era.
