越南北部边境西南官话地名汉字译写问题初探

On Translation of Chinese Characters in Place Names of Southwestern Mandarin in Northern Vietnam

中越两国间交流源远流长,文化上相互影响,作为语言文化的产物,地名在两国文化交流史上留下了或多或少的烙印,越南北部边境地名中的西南官话地名正是中越两国相互交流的有力印证。文章通过研究这些地名,对现有的越南北部边境地名中的西南官话汉译地名进行分析,提出越南老街西南官话地名翻译的原则和注意事项,对目前已有的相关地名资料,提供一些补充意见,为地名翻译标准化提供参考,展现这些地名的文化内涵。

Exchanges between China and Vietnam have a long history and cultural influence.As a product of language and culture,geographical place names have more or less left an imprint on the history of cultural exchanges between the two countries.The names of the southwestern Mandarins in the northern border names of Vietnam are exactly the same.This is a powerful example of the exchange of two countries.By studying these names,this paper analyzes the Southwestern Mandarin in the names of places along the northern border of Vietnam,and proposes principles and precautions when translating the names of the southwestern Mandarin into Vietnamese.Provide some additional comments on the relevant geographical names information currently available.This provides a reference for the translation of place names showing the cultural connotations of these place names.
