With the expansion of the scale of urbanization in China,the number of highway infrastructure is gradually increasing.In the process of highway construction,the soft soil foundation is the main factor affecting the quality of the road.This paper mainly analyzes the impact and damage of soft soil foundation on highway engineering,and expounds the technical methods of soft soil foundation treatment in highway engineering construction,and puts forward corresponding handling precautions,thus improving the bearing capacity of soft soil foundation in highway construction,ensuring highway construction and promoting the development of China's transportation industry.
