Sino-Russian Relationship: In Retrospect and A Look into the Future

我们回顾中俄关系发展史,研究中俄关系发展史,有助于树立我们对中俄关系的信心。苏联解体以来,意识形态、社会制度等方面的问题都没有影响中俄关系的发展方向。在两国领导人推动下,中俄关系进入了新时代。两国摒弃了非结盟即对抗的冷战思维,体现了以互信求安全、以互利求合作的新型国家关系,这不仅符合中俄两国人民的利益,也对新型国际关系和国际新秩序的建立与发展有不可替代的积极影响。在中俄建交70周年之际,我们对中俄关系的发展保持更加乐观的态度,并坚定不移地深化这种高水平的战略协作关系。

Review and studies on the history of Sino-Russian relations is conducive to building our confidence in Sino-Russian relationship.Since the collapse of the Soviet Union,such issues as ideology and social system have not affected the direction of Sino-Russian relations.Led by leaders of these two countries,Sino-Russian relationship has entered a new era.Both countries abandoned the Cold War mentality of non-alignment,embodying a new type of major country relationship based on mutual trust for security and mutual benefits for cooperation,which not only serves the interests of people of these two countries,but also has irreplaceable positive impacts on the establishment and development of a new world order and for new international relationships as well. On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relationship between China and Russia,we remain more optimistic about the development of Sino-Russian relationship and will unswervingly deepen this high-level strategic cooperative relationship.
