为了强有力打击黑恶势力犯罪,从根源上铲除黑恶势力犯罪土壤,保障人民安居乐业、社会安定有序、国家长治久安,进一步巩固党的执政基础,党中央、国务院发出《关于开展扫黑除恶专项斗争的通知》,决定在全国开展扫黑除恶专项斗争。而在专项斗争中,要发挥律师的作用,切实履行辩护职责,站在辩护的角度,协助司法机关把好事实关、证据关、程序关、法律关,共同防范冤假错案。

To vigorously crack down on crimes committed by evil forces,to root out the ground breeding crimes so as to protect the people’s livelihood,social stability and order,and the country’s long-term stability,as well as to further consolidate the party’s governing foundation,the Party Central Committee and the State Council issued a notice on the campaign against crime,which aims to launch a momentous anti-evil campaign nationwide,in which it is necessary to give the role of lawyers who shall earnestly perform the defense duties,stand in the perspective of defense,and assist the judicial organs in ensuring good facts,evidence,procedures,and laws to prevent unjust,false and wrongful cases.
