Objective To analyze the therapeutic effects and adverse reactions of quetiapine and risperidone on schizophrenia with negative symptoms. Methods The conveniently selected study subjects were schizophrenia patients with negative symptoms. The total number of cases was 200. The patients were divided into two groups by lottery. The collection time was from February 2016 to February 2017, the observation group (100 patients treated with quetiapine) and the control group (100 patients treated with risperidone). Results The total effective rate of patients with schizophrenia in the observation group was 94.00% higher than that in the control group 80.00%(χ^2=8.994 9,P<0.05);the depression score (15.01±0.11)points and anxiety score (14.25±1.02)points in the observation group, lower than the control group (t=47.381 7,6.466 8,P<0.05);the adverse reactions of the observation group were lower than those of the control group (χ^2=8.000 0,P<0.05);The BPRS score of the post-observation group (91.01±10.11)points was lower than that of the control group.the difference was statistically significant (t=3.254 8,P<0.05). Conclusion After the implementation of quetiapine in patients with schizophrenia with negative symptoms, significant results have been achieved, with significant curative effect and low adverse reactions.
