新高考背景下的英语区级统测刍议——以上海市H区为例

On District-level English test with regards to new Gaokao reform:A case study of Shanghai H District

在上海新一轮高考改革的背景下,本文以上海市H区为例,介绍英语区级统测概况,并从考试效度、数据反馈、区级统测对教学的反拨作用等多个角度,阐述区级统测的重点和意义,分析了区级统测折射出的具体问题和产生的相关影响。本文认为,合理有序地组织开展区级统测有助于提高高中阶段英语教学质量,最大化发挥其正向反拨效应,避免造成负面影响。

This paper reviews the general practice of district-level test, taking District H in Shanghai as an example in the context of the reformed National Matriculation English Test (Shanghai). The paper illustrates the key points with regards to test validity, data feedback, washback effect, etc. and analyzes the practical challenges and related impact on the entire process of district-level test. It is concluded that district-level test exercised in an appropriate way could help enhance quality of English teaching in high school. Therefore, we should maximize the positive washback of the district-level test and avoid negative impacts.
