摘要
“五四”时期,在实验主义教育思潮影响下,教育界领袖和回国服务的欧美留学生共同推动南北最具影响力的教育机关,先后联合成立了新教育共进社、新教育杂志社和实际教育调查社,并合组成立中华教育改进社。在董事会领导下,以总事务所为枢纽,集合全国各省区教育界智力和经济资源,成立了30多个学术委员会,调查中国教育实况,研究教育学术,一方面将教育界的公意供给政府斟酌采行,一方面与世界各国教育界沟通联络,顺应世界教育发展潮流,推动中国教育进步。
In the May 4th Movement period, affected by the experimental educational thought, Chinese educational leaders promoted the most influential educational institutes and jointly set up some new education institute for society. The new agency for Education, the magazine of New Education, The Actual Education Agency, became unitedly the Chinese Educational Reform Institute. These institutes communicated the all over the world education circles, kept pace with the trend of world education development, and promoted the progress of Chinese education.
