社区是“人民的生活有时空的坐落”,是最具可观测性的社会现象研究单位。中国社区在本体论和方法论上的双重意义决定了其在中国社会学研究中的重要地位,也决定了在研究时无法照搬西方经验。目前,中国城市社区研究的实践经验已经比较丰富,在反思研究范式的基础上,只有采用人文实证主义研究范式和具体方法,正确理解并合理运用“熟悉”和“关系”在中国社区研究中的重要意义,有效构建多维观察角度,及时感知和把握时空变动态势,才能更接近中国社区中社会现象的真实和实质。

The community is “Where and when people live”, and it is the most observable unite of social phenomena. The dual meaning of the Chinese community in ontology and methodology determines its important position in the study of Chinese sociology, and also determines that we cannot copy Western experience during research. At present, the practical experience of urban community research in China has been relatively rich. But, on the basis of rethinking the research paradigm, we should only use the humanistic positivism research paradigm and specific methods, correctly understand and rationally apply the importance of “familiarity” and “relationship” in Chinese community research, effectively construct a multi-dimensional observation angle, and timely grasp the uncontrolled dynamic potential, which can be closer to the truth and substance of social phenomena in the Chinese community.
