新中国70年的和平外交可以划分为三个大的历史时期:1949-1978年的"和平共处外交"时期、1978-2012年的"和平发展外交"时期、2012年至今的"中国特色大国外交"时期。每个时期的外交政策具有不同的阶段性特征,体现了时代发展变化对党和国家提出的新要求。70年曲折复杂的和平外交历程积累了丰富而深刻的历史经验,主要包括:坚持独立自主是新中国外交政策的基本立场;维护国家和人民利益是我们制定外交政策的根本出发点;反对霸权主义,维护世界和平,是新中国外交重要的战略目标和战略任务;构建"伙伴关系"是新中国外交在"后冷战"时代坚持独立自主原则的必然选择;打造"人类命运共同体"是新时代"中国特色大国外交"的努力方向。

New China′s 70-year peace diplomacy can be divided into three major historical periods: the period of "peaceful coexistence diplomacy" from 1949 to 1978, the period of "peaceful development diplomacy" from 1978 to 2012, and the period of "great power diplomacy with Chinese characteristics" from 2012 to the present. The foreign policy of each period has different periodic characteristics, which reflects the new requirements of the development of the times for the Party and the State. The 70 years of tortuous and complex diplomatic course of peace has accumulated rich and profound historical experience, mainly including: adhering to independence and autonomy is the basic position of New China′s foreign policy;safeguarding the interests of the country and the people is the fundamental starting point of our foreign policy formulation;opposing hegemonism and safeguarding world peace are important strategic objectives and tasks of new China′s diplomacy;building a "partnership" is the inevitable choice for China′s diplomacy to adhere to the principle of independence and autonomy in the post-cold war era, and building a "community of human destiny" is the direction of "diplomacy of great powers with Chinese characteristics" in the new era.
