Effect of oxygen content on the properties of sintered Pr-Nd-Ce-Fe-B magnets

摘要 采用粉末冶金工艺制备了不同氧含量的烧结Pr-Nd-Ce-Fe-B磁体,研究了氧含量对Pr-Nd-Ce-Fe-B烧结磁体性能的影响。结果显示,低氧含量的磁体性能优于高氧含量的磁体。通过SEM观察两种不同氧含量烧结样品的微观结构,发现高氧含量样品磁体致密性比低氧含量样品的差且孔洞更多,造成了高氧含量样品磁性能和力学性能降低。 In this paper, sintered Pr-Nd-Ce-Fe-B magnets with different oxygen contents were prepared by powder metallurgy process, and the effects of oxygen content on their properties investigated. The results show that the magnet with lower oxygen content is superior to the magnet with higher oxygen content. From SEM images, microstructure of sintered samples with two different oxygen contents were observed, and it was found that the density of the sintered magnet became worse and the hole increased with increase of oxygen content, which results in the decrease of the magnetic and the mechanical properties of the samples.
