Social Resentment from the Perspective of Functionalism and Conflict Theory

根据整体主义的宏观视角及结构主义的理论旨趣,对社会怨恨予以结构性解释的典型理论形式,当属帕森斯等的功能主义理论和达仁道夫等的冲突理论。比较与借鉴社会怨恨的此两种结构性解释框架,对于正确认识潜藏在当代中国社会众多矛盾与冲突背后的怨恨情绪,建立切实可行的怨恨疏导与化解之道,具有重要的社会现实意义。

According to the macroscopic perspective of holism and the theoretical purpose of structuralism, the typical theoretical forms of structural explanation of social resentment should be the functionalism theory of Parsons et al and the conflict theory of Darendorf et al. Comparing and learning from these two structural interpretation frameworks of social resentment, it is of great social and practical significance to understand correctly the resentment behind the numerous contradictions and conflicts in contemporary Chinese society, and establish feasible ways to channel and resolve the resentment.
