“萧太后运粮河”考议

A Study of “Xiao Taihou Yunliang River”

辽朝之“萧太后运粮河”不仅指今地图可见的西起北京市宣武区万寿山东至张家湾的这一条约二十公里长的河道,其广义范围可指在辽朝统治时期内其所经营的连接南京道境内海河水系与蓟运河水系的人工水路运输通道。经“萧太后运粮河”所连接的蓟运河水系,其东可抵蓟州、三河等地,北通顺州、檀州地区,西可直达辽南京城下,是辽朝南京道地区最主要的漕运河道。

The “Xiao Taihou Yunliang River” in the Liao Dynasty's not only refers to the 20-kilometer-long River from Xuanwu District to Zhangjiawan,which can be seen on the map today.Its broad scope refers to the artificial waterway transportation corridor which was operated by the Liao Dynasty,connecting the Haihe River system and the Jiyunhe River system in the Nanjing Dao Area.The Jiyunhe water system connected by the “Xiao Taihou Yunliang River” can reach Jizhou and Sanhe in the east,Shunzhou and Tanzhou in the north and Nanjing in the west.It is the main canal passage in the Nanjing Dao area of the Liao Dynasty.
