基于数据挖掘的高职英语A级考试与就业力关系的分析

Analysis of the Relationship between Higher Vocational PRETCO-A Level and Employability Based on Data Mining

选取三亚航空旅游职业学院2018届1713名毕业生作为研究样本,在学校就业管理系统中提取其就业相关信息,并在教务管理系统追踪其在读期间高等学校英语应用能力A级考试成绩,分6大专业,从就业力的四个维度(就业率,专业与职业的相关度,月平均收入,就业现状满意度)分析A级考试通过率对就业力的影响。研究发现A级考试与学生就业力有较高相关性,A级通过率与学生就业率相关系数高达0.83,这可为各专业的人才培养方案制定,课程设置,英语教学改革提供科学依据。

1713 graduates in 2018 are selected from Sanya Aviation and Tourism College as the research samples.By collecting their employment information in the employment management system of the college and tracing their scores of Practical English Test for College Students(PRETCO-A level)at school,the influence of PRETCO-A level passing rate on the graduates’employability is analyzed from four dimensions of the employability (graduate employment rate,relevance between majors and careers,average monthly wage and employment status satisfaction) according to six different majors.The results show that students’PRETCO-A level passing rate can be found highly related to their employment ability and the correlation coefficient between the passing rate and the employment rate is as high as 0.83,which offers the scientific basis to each major’s talents training program,curriculum setting and the reform of English teaching.
